Heather McMahan

Heather McMahan at Tulsa Theater

Heather McMahan brings a quick, self-aware comic voice to Tulsa Theater on March 20, 2027 at 8:00 PM, and that combination is exactly why this date stands out on the Tulsa concerts calendar. Her appeal is immediate: she works across stand-up, acting, and podcasting, so the onstage presence comes with both polish and personality. For a night out with a friend who likes comedy that feels current and conversational, this is an easy one to talk yourself into.

What makes McMahan especially interesting is how widely her profile stretches without losing the stand-up core. Her first Netflix special debuted at #4 and spent seven days in Netflix's Top 10, while Son I Never Had! also reached the Top 10 for seven days. Those are useful markers because they point to a comic with real momentum and a broad audience. She has also appeared on Today, Is It Cake?, and Celebrity Jeopardy, and Tulsa Theater's listing notes her work as a red-carpet correspondent at major awards shows. That mix suggests someone comfortable moving between sharp stage material and the fast pace of TV appearances.

If you like comedians who bring a point of view and a lot of ease, McMahan offers plenty to lean into. Her official artist page also notes that she was named to Variety's 2022 Comedy Impact Report, adding another sign that her work has resonated well beyond a single platform. For a shared night out, it is the kind of show that gives you plenty to discuss afterward without requiring any homework beforehand.
