The Phantom of the Opera

The Phantom of the Opera at Chapman Music Hall at Tulsa Performing Arts Center

Some musicals announce themselves with a melody; The Phantom of the Opera arrives with a whole atmosphere. Andrew Lloyd Webber's landmark production comes to Chapman Music Hall at Tulsa Performing Arts Center on November 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM, bringing a story that has long drawn audiences in with mystery, romance, and theatrical scale. For anyone exploring Tulsa stage productions, this is an easy title to recognize and an even easier one to imagine making a day around.

This official North American tour stop is not a local adaptation, and that matters for listeners who want the show's classic identity intact. Maria Björnson's original design remains part of the production, while the staging has been revitalized for the tour through the creative leadership associated with Harold Prince, Gillian Lynne, and the post-2021 revival team. The result is a presentation that keeps its visual signature while feeling ready for a new audience. That balance can appeal to newcomers who want a clear entry point as well as longtime theatre fans who appreciate seeing a major work presented with care.

The current tour stars Isaiah Bailey as the Phantom and Jordan Lee Gilbert as Christine Daaé, placing the central relationship at the heart of the evening. And because Chapman Music Hall is the PAC's largest theatre, designed for opera, ballet, orchestral music, plays, lectures, and films, it suits a production built for dramatic presence. If you're looking for a classic musical with a strong theatrical identity, take a look at the event ticket listings and see how this date fits your plans.
