Tulsa Oilers vs. Wichita Thunder

Tulsa Oilers vs. Wichita Thunder at BOK Center

Some rivalries are written in ink. This one is carved in ice. When the Wichita Thunder rolls into BOK Center on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at 7:05 PM, you're not just watching hockey. You're stepping into the longest rivalry in Tulsa Oilers history. Puck drop delivers the kind of edge that only repeat battles can produce.

Wichita is Tulsa's most common opponent on the schedule, and there's a reason these two clubs know each other's play so well. Every shift carries the weight of seasons past. Every check echoes a grudge. The Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks and San Diego Gulls, defend home ice with a purpose when the Thunder visits. You'll feel it in the glass, hear it in the crowd, and see it in every race for the puck.

This is Saturday-night hockey the way it was meant to be: live, loud, and personal. No replay can match the crack of a one-timer or the roar when the lamp lights. Oilers supporters can follow a familiar opponent, and newcomers can discover what draws people to the rivalry. Make plans for a night BOK Center won't forget.
