Yheti

Yheti at The Vanguard - OK

If you like electronic music that feels a little off-center in the best way, Yheti is an easy artist to get curious about. The draw here is the sound itself: experimental, surreal, and heavy on the low end, with a style that can move from bass pressure to strange, imaginative details without losing momentum. That combination gives newcomers a clear entry point, especially if you enjoy music that rewards attention and has a personality all its own.

Yheti's album Everything New Was Old, released in 2023, shows that approach in a direct, hands-on way, with the artist handling the writing, performance, mix, edit, and mash-up work. Tracks such as Make Some Art, Feel Weird Good, Yo In My Dimension, and Too High In The Club hint at the blend of humor, oddity, and club-ready energy that sits inside the project. Genre tags like bass music, electronic, IDM, left-field bass, dubstep, experimental, and experimental electronic also point to a set that may appeal to listeners who want something adventurous without needing to decode a scene first.
