Tulsa Drillers vs. Amarillo Sod Poodles at ONEOK Field

A late-May night at ONEOK Field gives this matchup a clean, local kind of appeal: the Tulsa Drillers hosting the Amarillo Sod Poodles on May 29, 2027, with Time TBA. It is part of a six-game home series, and that matters because baseball has a different feel when you can settle in with a full stretch of games still ahead. The pace, the repetition, and the pressure of the series all give the night a shape that is easy to enjoy, even before the first pitch.

Tulsa's 2027 schedule is built around 69 home games, so this date fits a season designed to keep baseball rooted in downtown Tulsa. The Drillers play in the Double-A Texas League, which gives the game a familiar minor league framework for fans who like following the sport as it develops from one club to another. Amarillo comes in as the Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, adding another layer of league context without making the evening feel complicated. For anyone who follows affiliated baseball, that connection is part of the fun.

For people browsing live sports events in Tulsa, this is a straightforward chance to take in live baseball in a ballpark setting that belongs to the city. The final three games of the series fall on May 28-30, so this matchup sits inside a meaningful stretch of the calendar rather than standing alone. That gives it the feel of a game with context, not just a date on the schedule. Take a look at the ticket listings for this Drillers game at ONEOK Field and see how it fits into your plans.
