Tulsa Ballet: The Nutcracker

Tulsa Ballet: The Nutcracker at Chapman Music Hall at Tulsa Performing Arts Center

Christmas stories gain a different kind of magic when dancers bring them to the stage. Young Marie's enchanted journey through 19th-century Germany springs to life when Tulsa Ballet brings The Nutcracker to Chapman Music Hall at Tulsa Performing Arts Center on Sunday, December 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM. It offers the kind of shared experience that turns an afternoon into a memory.

Choreographed by Val Caniparoli and Ma Cong, the production delivers everything the season promises: the Nutcracker Prince, the clash with the Mouse King, and the shimmering grace of the Sugarplum Fairy. Tulsa Ballet is regarded as one of the top ballet companies in North America, and their artistic roots blend classical dance with dramatic theatre in ways that pull you straight into Marie's world.

This is the story families return to year after year, not out of obligation, but because some traditions actually deliver. The music swells, the stage transforms, and for a few hours, Christmas Eve in a faraway time and place feels close enough to touch. Bring the people you want to share it with, and let Tulsa Ballet remind you why this story has outlasted every trend and gimmick. Make this December unforgettable.
